Dan Lowe – Chief Executive Officer & Executive Chairman

As with most successful entrepreneurs, Dan Lowe’s drive to create thriving businesses that pioneer industry categories and innovative new products has led to the establishment of a number of exciting business ventures, including his most recent endeavor, HEADPLAY, Inc. With HEADPLAY’s new Personal Cinema System, Dan intends to break industry standards in the portable entertainment products market. Dan has been responsible for numerous technological innovations over the last 18 years and has been awarded 11 International technology patents. In 1988, Dan co-founded Qsound Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ: QSND), a prominent supplier of 3D audio solutions for the Internet, PC/multimedia, consumer electronics and mobile device marketplaces. Dan served as an executive officer and director until 1997. As the inventor of Qsound’s proprietary 3D audio technology, Dan led the device now widely recognized as a standard in three-dimensional audio licensed by Intel, Sony, Phillips, Texas Instruments, Toshiba, Sanyo, Electronic Arts, and Motorola, and used by such esteemed recording artists as Sting, Madonna, Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd. Post Qsound Labs, Dan co-founded E-Zone Networks Inc., a provider of entertainment systems to the fitness industry. He is also the co-founder of Call Genie the Enhanced Voice Directory of Yellow Pages Canada.

Ian Tweedie – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Tweedie is a Charted Accountant and has extensive financial and managerial experience in both public and private companies. He commenced his career in Canada with Coopers & Lybrand. He left the profession to manage the Canadian office of a West German drilling fund with in excess of $100 million invested in North American oil gas properties through several limited partnerships. He also managed the Canadian office of a London based financial futures trading house for the same European principals. He has spent the last ten years providing both corporate finance and financial advisory services to various start-up companies. This has included both private placement and IPO financings for companies primarily engaged in technology development and commercialization. Mr. Tweedie has also assumed senior financial roles with a number of these companies and has Board level experience with public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and NASDAQ.

Kevin Greenwood – President & Chief Operating Officer

Kevin has been a key contributor to a number of successful technology-based organizations. Prior to becoming the President & Chief Operating Officer of Headplay, Inc., Kevin was the President of ACM Automation Inc., the President of NE2 Corporation, the CTO of RMS Research, and the Chief Product Architect for Axia NetMedia Corporation (TSX:AXX). In addition to his operational experience, Kevin has provided strategic consulting to the management of numerous companies, including TELUS Corporation and Accumap Enerdata Corp. Kevin sold WNDX Corporation, a technology company he co-founded, after a six-year stint as CEO during which the company established a loyal customer base throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Kevin holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, is a partner in a technology-marketing firm, and teaches entrepreneurship and marketing at Mount Royal College in Calgary.

Bryan Tucker – Chief Creative Officer

Bryan Tucker brings more than 40 years of award-winning professional motion picture and entertainment industry experience to the HEADPLAY team. During his marketing and artist development tenure with CBS Records (now Sony Music), Bryan was instrumental in the career development of multi-platinum artists such as Loverboy, Meat Loaf and other high profile recording talent. More than three decades of Bryan’s professional career has been in the motion picture industry covering exhibition and distribution, as well as working with major Hollywood Studios, including more than 12 years with Paramount Pictures as a marketing executive. Credited as a pioneer of creative multi-media promotional partnership initiatives, Bryan’s expertise has been utilized by clients as diverse as Warner Bros., MGM/UA, Famous Players Theatres, The Walt Disney Company, the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology and Mercedes Benz, amongst others.

Bruce Finman – Vice President of Sales

A 20-year veteran of the consumer electronics and personal computer industries, Bruce Finman serves as HEADPLAY Inc.’s Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining HEADPLAY, Bruce served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Archos Technology. Under his direction Archos added more than 20 major national and regional resellers including retailers CompUSA, Tweeter, and The Sharper Image. During his tenure at Archos, revenues grew by more than 80% and the company became the recognized category leader due in large part to increased retail presence and effective marketing strategies. Bruce was also responsible for the launch of many new products including multimedia players and storage devices. Prior to Archos, Bruce was the Vice President of Sales for LG Electronics where he was responsible for more than $200 million in annual sales. He is credited with increasing sales more than 100% and successfully launching LG’s plasma display product line. Bruce has also held senior sales and sales management positions with Mitsubishi Electronics and Xircom (an Intel company), where his responsibilities included retail, distribution and major account sales.

Jay Puryear – Director of Interactive

Being an avid gamer for nearly 30 years, and working in the gaming publishing industry for close to a decade, Jay Puryear brings a wealth of entertainment experience to the HEADPLAY, Inc. team. Jay co-founded GameFan magazine in 1992, where he started his professional interactive career. He later became Vice President/Group Publisher of Gaming for Metropolis Media, where he was responsible for numerous gaming titles including GameFan, MegaFan, Station, GameFan Sports Network, and over 18 strategy guides. In 1998, Jay became President of Shinno Media Corp. where he managed the day-to-day operations for both print and online divisions. Since 2002, Jay has been the gaming consultant for HEADPLAY in Strategic Interactive Development. Jay has played a pivotal role in developing the PCS (Personal Cinema System) for the interactive community. Currently serving as the Director of Interactive, Jay’s key relationships in the community have been of great benefit to HEADPLAY as the company primes itself to go to market.
