TRANSMITTER / RECEIVER:
Operating on 5.8GHz, this radio set eliminates frequency conflict with
the latest RC flight controllers and avoids the reception problems
associated with the cluttered 2.4Ghz band, which is used by everything
from microwave ovens to Internet WiFi connectivity. And, unlike the
900MHz band, all of the channels this system uses in the 5.8GHz band
are legal for operation in the US.
The powerful, yet compact and lightweight Stinger 5.8 Pro transmitter
efficiently transmits NTSC or PAL/SECAM video, audio and an additional
side channel at a full 250mW. The transmitter’s integrated extreme
sensitivity microphone features a built-in Automatic Level Control
(ALC) microphone preamp that insures excellent quality sound over very
large changes in input volume. The additional side channel may be used
for an additional line-level audio signal or to downlink medium baud
rate serial data. Stinger 5.8 Pro circuitry is also very efficient and
able to operate for relatively extended period, both in the air and on
the ground.
The industry leading YellowJacket 5.8GHz Pro Diversity Receiver employs
patent pending microprocessor technology to compare signals from the
unit’s two integrated receivers, invisibly switching to the best signal
on the video sync pulse. The result is greater system coverage, greatly
increased reception quality and seamless quality video. ”YellowJacket
5.8GHz Pro Diversity Receiver all but eliminates signal bounce (or
multipathing) from buildings, the ground and other objects that results
in signal dropout. In addition to the performace and features Future
Hobbies customers are familiar with in the YellowJacket 2.4 Pro
Diversity Receiver, The YellowJacket 5.8GHz Pro Diversity Receiver can
receive medium baud rate serial data from the Stinger 5.8 Pro
Transmitter’s side band. Just imagine what can be done with real-time
data on the ground!

CAMERA:
With its high-resolution Sony chipset and optional IR configuration,
the KX-191 is the new standard in aerial video cameras. This compact
and beautifully made camera features remarkably true color
reproduction, excellent auto white balance, compatibility with a
variety of lenses and a night-vision feature that automatically turns
on in low light flight. Best of all, the high-resolution KX-191h
variant included with this system offers true 550TVL resolution. That’s
a full 30 lines more resolution than competitive cameras on the market!
ON-BOARD SYSTEM HARNESS:
Our high quality system harness is the heart of all Future Hobbies
systems. The harness’ unique design and the standardized Molex
connectors allow users to easily upgrade their systems or swap
components on-the-fly to address varying flight conditions. The harness
is made of a tough outer nylon casing and utilizes the only the highest
quality gold pin Molex connectors.
